Resonance

This fashion editorial is a melting pot of Amazigh heritage and contemporary Western fashion which interprets the experience of first generation diaspora navigating between the culture they grew up with and the new home they built abroad. Sophia, the model is Moroccan-born and raised, later lived in Paris, giving this shoot a personal connection. Her late Amazigh grandmother was the initial inspiration behind the project. These images celebrate heritage, femininity and how two cultural worlds can coexist and influence one another through fashion.
